The HIV Research Unit at UT Southwestern Medical Center is conducting an HIV Vaccine trial that starts in a few weeks. A supporter of the club has asked us for assistance in helping with this research study. I urge each of you to visit the website (hopetakesaction.org) and look through the data that is provided. Take the time to decide whether or not you can make the commitment to help out with this great cause.

I’d like to welcome back our men’s side from what sounded like a great time at the Bingham Cup in Minneapolis, MN.

Summer touch practice resumes on July 7th at 6:45 on Mondays/Wednesday at Lake Highlands Park. Come if you want to and bring friends! This is a great recruiting opportunity for both the men’s and women’s sides.

The Diablos women will be playing Rugby 7’s this Saturday, June 5 at Lake Highlands in purple jersey’s. The Lone Star Classic Sevens Tournament has men’s, women’s, and youth divisions, so there should a lot of fun games to watch.

Our schedule is:

12:00 v. UTs Rasta Rabbits
2:00 v. OK
3:20 v. Beavers
3:40 v. Phatties

This will be followed by the dubutante ball by 5pm. This is a lot of fun to watch – so come on out!

The Diablos men are playing against the Alliance at Glencoe Park Saturday, June 5th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This is their last game before they travel to Minneapolis, MN for Bingham Cup 2010, so let’s get out there and show some support!

Let’s all wish the lady Diablos good luck this Saturday as they play against Austin and Baton Rouge in Austin this weekend.

The games will take place at Burr Field, with the first match at 10:30 and the last match at around 5:00. Go Diablos!

Come watch the men play their final battle of the season this Saturday in Arlington!
